UGA Genomics Core Expands Sequencing Support

UGA’s Georgia Genomics and Bioinformatics Core is expanding access to on-campus RNA and DNA sequencing support, including sample quality control, library preparation, pooling, size selection, and sequencing. With affordable pricing, fast turnaround times, personalized support, and new sample drop-off locations at Davison Life Sciences and Riverbend North, the GGBC provides a local alternative to commercial sequencing providers for UGA researchers.

GGBC is also a critical partner in the In-House Genomic Diagnostics Working Group, supporting efforts to build practical genomic testing capacity at UGA. By making sequencing workflows more accessible, secure, and collaborative on campus, GGBC helps generate the molecular data needed for Precision One Health studies in cancer, infectious disease, microbiome research, environmental health, and precision medicine.
