Donor Gift Advances Precision One Health

Richard and Kim Stamper are supporting UGA’s Precision One Health Initiative through a new endowed fund focused on collaborative approaches to cancer research and personalized medicine. Their gift to Precision One Health reflects a commitment to breaking down silos across UGA and accelerating research that connects veterinary medicine, human health, and translational discovery.

Their support strengthens the broader Precision One Health mission by helping researchers study how genetics, environment, and lifestyle shape disease prevention and treatment. For the Systems Modeling and Data Analytics Core, this type of cross-campus investment creates new opportunities to connect patient data, molecular biology, clinical insight, and computational analysis in support of more precise therapies for both people and animals.
