Progress: Precision One Health Symposium November 7th

The University of Georgia invites researchers, students, and community members to “Progress,” a Precision One Health (POH) Initiative Symposium, on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at the UGA Center for Continuing Education & Hotel.

This day-long event will showcase cutting-edge interdisciplinary research from across UGA’s colleges, focusing on the intersection of human, animal, and environmental health. Sessions will explore work from the POH Initiative’s four core areas: Translational Medicine, Systems Modeling and Data Analytics, Epidemiology and Disease Ecology, and Social Sciences and Medicine.

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in breakout sessions designed to foster collaboration and align future research goals. The symposium concludes with a networking reception in the Magnolia Ballroom at 6:00 p.m.
