AI Takes Center Stage at POH Symposium

The second Precision One Health Symposium highlighted how artificial intelligence and computational analysis are accelerating biomedical discovery across human, animal, and environmental health. The CVM-hosted symposium brought together researchers from across UGA to discuss how AI can support drug discovery, clinical translation, and more precise approaches to disease prevention and treatment.

The story also highlights a central Precision One Health goal: bringing advanced molecular testing and patient-derived models into clinical workflows. By connecting genomic analysis, organoid drug testing, veterinary oncology, and computational modeling, these efforts align closely with the Systems Modeling and Data Analytics Core’s mission to help turn complex biological and clinical data into actionable insight.
